Compact wavefront compensated holographic tomography
Vinoth Balasubramani;Han-Yen Tu;Chau-Jern Cheng;Nikolay Petrov
A novel adaptive wavefront correction technique is proposed and implemented on a compactly developed phase-only spatial light modulator based holographic tomography system. The experimental results of Siemens star target and a live candida rugosa revealed the capability of the method in enhancing the resolution in axial and lateral directions.

Two-dimensional (2D) layered transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs): synthesis, characterizations and applications
Vera Marinova
Two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides PtSe2 films were synthesized by using thermally assisted selenization of pre-deposited platinum films in horizontal quartz-tube reactor. Based on optical and electrical measurements, the PtSe2 layers has been proposed as supporting conducive electrodes for tunable liquid crystal (LC) phase retarders.

Hyperspectral Imaging System with Ultra-high Acquiring Speed
Cheng-Yi Tung;Ming Le;Yeh-Wei Yu;Tsung-Hsun Yang;Ching-Cherng Sun
We propose an innovative instrumentation that is able to rapidly acquire the full spatial and spectral information of the whole-field with high accuracy. There is no need of scanning mechanism. The innovative hyperspectral image (HSI) system is simple, effective, and of ultra-high acquiring speed.

Study of 3D Image Display Based on Digital Optical Phase Conjugation
Chi-Hsiang Huang;Chih-Wei Chen;Yeh-Wei Yu;Ching-Cherng Sun;Tsung-Hsun Yang
In this paper, we develop a high-performance digital optical phase conjugate system by applying Kitty self-pumped phase conjugate mirror to the digital optical phase conjugate system. Base on this system, we successfully develop a real image projection system that can reconstruct three-dimensional image information.
