Efficient sky-blue organic light-emitting diodes with tetraphenylethene-based aggregation-induced emission molecules
Yi-Ching Chen;Tzu-Hsin Hsiao;Wei-Ling Chen;Chih-Hao Chang;Gintare Krucaite;Saulius Grigalevicius

Phenylpropyl or longer analogous substitutions were adopted to decorate the tetraphenylethene moiety for the construction of aggregation-induced luminescence compounds. The peak efficiencies of sky blue-emitting devices with a non-doped emitting layer could up to 3.5%, demonstrating the effective design concepts of a tetraphenylethene moiety decorated with phenylpropyl-based substitutions.

A Study of Reflectance Spectra of Human Skins with Principal Component Analysis
Jian Fu Zeng;Yu-Che Wen;Yu-Hsiung Lin;Senfar Wen;Long Hsu

Twenty reflectance spectra of human skins were measured. Their principal component spectra were calculated. The reflectance spectra can be synthesized well with first two principal component spectra. The use of first three principal component spectra is preferred considering the shift of color coordinate from measured values.
