Quang-Khoi Nguyen;Thi Thu Ngoc Le;Shih-Kang Lin;Xuan-Hao Lee;Tung-Hsun Yang;Van Hieu Nguyen;Quang Vinh Lam;Vu Tuan Hung Le;Nu Quynh Trang Ton;Thi Hanh Thu Vu;Ching Cherng Sun

The effect of backward scattering in the packaging process was reduced by using a weight concentration of yellow phosphor of 7.5%. The properties including correlated color temperature, color rendering index and packaging efficiency were investigated. We can reduce the concentration of phosphor while still reach high packaging efficiency.

Optimization of trichromatic white LED spectra for mesopic vision using SPDs of a Color Blast
Hung-Chung Li;Yennun Huang;Pei-Li Sun

The optimal trichromatic white LED spectra for mesopic lighting condition, which can increase the mesopic luminance and also expand the range of 3D color gamut with satisfying color rendering indices and acceptable Duv were proposed. The results indicated that a trade-off between mesopic luminance and color gamut was quite significant.

Charng-Gan Tu;Keng-Ping Chou;Wai Fong Tse;Yi-Chiao Hsu;Yen-Po Chen;Yean-Woei Kiang;C. C. Yang

An AlGaN/GaN multi-shell nanorod structure is formed by using the self-catalytic pulsed growth process of MOCVD with Ga and Al/N supplies in the first and second half-cycles, respectively. With Al supply, a thin AlGaN layer is precipitated near the end of a growth cycle to form the core/shell structure.
