Toward Clean Production of Plastic Perovskite Solar Cell Using Aqueous Lead Nitrate Precursor
Tzu-Chien Wei

Lightweight, plastic photovoltaic (PPV) devices are considered attractive renewable energy devices because they can be produced with high-throughput printing processes and they enable the usage of solar power on curved surfaces. Generally, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of a PPV is lower than that of its rigid counterpart,

Performance Improvement of Single-junction GaAs-based with Hybrid Electrodes
Li-Yi Jian;Ching-Ting Lee;Junseok Heo

The hybrid electrodes constructed by the metal contact pads and SiO2/ITO/TiO2 triple layers were developed to reduce the shadow loss and the light reflection. The conversion efficiency of the resulted solar cells with hybrid electrodes was improved from 9.38% to 12.68% in comparison with the cells with traditional bus-bar electrodes.

Investigations of MAxCs1-xPb(IxBr1-x)3 thin-films based solar cells
Ching-Ju Chen;Pin-Chia Tseng;Jia-Ren Wu;Sheng-De Wong;Sheng-Hui Chen;Sheng Hsiung Chang

We investigated the structural, optical and exitonic properties of MAxCs1-xPb(IxBr1-x)3 thin films. The time-dependent PL spectra shows that the MA0.8Cs0.2Pb(I0.8Br0.2)3 thin film is a photo-stable solar material, which is used to construct an efficient and stable perovskite solar cell without the additional encapsulation.

Enhanced photoresponse of Solution-Processed CdSe Quantum Dots Decorated Reduced Graphene Oxide Photodetectors
You-Lin Chen;Bo-Wei Chen;Wei-Chen Lee;Wei-Chen Tu

A method of fabricating large-size reduced graphene oxide (rGO) photodetectors by solution process has been proposed. The incorporation of rGO with CdSe quantum dots to form the active layer of photodetectors was further demonstrated to enhance the charge transfer, leading to the improved photoresponse of photodetectors.

Analysis of hysteresis effect and optimization of power conversion efficiency in Perovskite solar cells
En-Wen Chang;Jun-Yu Huang;Yuh-Renn Wu

In this study, we modeled the MAPbI3–based solar cell and found the optimized condition with textured structure and the efficiency has been improved to 20.8%. Besides, the hysteresis characteristics of PSCs caused by ion migration effect especially the iodide (I-) ion were also analyzed with different operation conditions.

Thickness Dependence of Molybdemum-Oxide on Responsivity of n-Si/Molybdemum-Oxide Photodetectors
Te-Hua Liu;Chu-Hsuan Lin

We have changed the thickness of MoOx in MoOx/n-Si photodetectors. The suitable thickness of MoOx can result in a larger responsivity as compared to the control photodetectors without MoOx. Different excitation wavelengths show different relation between responsivities and thicknesses.
